(1) For the entire system of education, training, and instruction of the Reich, as well as for the tasks of science, a Reich Ministry for Science, education, and popular culture is established.
(2) The director of this office bears the title "Reich Minister for Science, Education and Popular Culture."
(3) The Chancellor of the Reich will determine the various duties of the Reich Ministry for Science, Education, and Popular Culture. He will also determine the duties which are transferred from the sphere of activity of the Reich Ministries affected to the new Ministry and also even if the sphere of activity of the ministries concerned is fundamentally affected hereby.Berlin, 1 May 1934
