NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVE MOBILIZED AS OF NOV. 21

The Air Force this week announces a reduction in reserve forces on active duty in support of the partial mobilization of just over 2,000 members, while the Navy announces an increase of 268 reservists and the Marine Corps announces an increase of 435 reservists on active duty to date.

At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it is possible for these figures to either increase or decrease. Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 15,036; Naval Reserve, 8,103; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 28,663; Marine Corps Reserve, 1,092; and the Coast Guard Reserve 2,227. This brings the total Reserve and National Guard on active duty to 55,121 from 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and individual augmentees.
