Deputy Secretary Armitage’s Meeting with Pakistani Officials

On September 13, Deputy Secretary Richard Armitage met with Pakistani officials to continue discussions on the current situation, including cooperating on our response to the heinous terrorist attacks of September 11. Noting President Musharraf’s statement of condolence and support in the fight against terrorism, Mr. Armitage provided the Pakistanis with a list of concrete actions we expect them to take to support our efforts.
